The Best!

In my opinion, definitely; the best architect is Frank Lloyd Wright; he was an American architect, interior designer, writer and educator. I think that his projects are beautiful, I like the way that he related the projects with the environment. Actually the architects design unbelievable buildings, and I like it. But, I think that they are beautiful alone, they could be located in any place and they would continue being beautiful. They are not related with the context.

Frank Lloyd Wright is considered like the best American`s Architects.
And his masterpiece is the Fallingwater.
In this job, the house is mixed with the environment. He achieved a perfect armory.





The second principal work is the Guggenheim Museum in New York. In this project, the context is totally contrary to the Fallingwater. It is the city, and not a common city, we are talking about New York. He could merge the museum with the city, without the building would lose prominence.

National holidays and Chilean identity. What makes Chileans Chileans?

It is a very good question. Always I have thought that the Chileans haven`t a really identity.
Chile is a long and narrow country. Consequently, our geography and climate is very varied.

For example: the North is very hot, mean the South is really cold.
It is reflected in the folklore. We have different typical dances, depending of the place.
In the north they have dances and rites related with their own beliefs. And surely it will be very different with the beliefs of the south, coast or east.
It is the best reason because we have not a general identity. Chile, like country, haven`t a thing that identify us.
It has been increased with the globalization. It is very sad, in the last National Holidays you could see people dancing reggaeton, eating popcorn, doing anything less something related with Chile. The worst is that now, it happened in some “fondas”, but in the future we going to lose all the Chilean`s identity.

Favorite piece of Technology

My favorite piece of Technology is my IPod Shuffle. It is a little piece that you use to listen to music. This IPod was a present, the last year my sister went to work to Hawaii, and in the back home she bought one for me. I have used it one year and half. However, recently I had lost the charger so I couldn’t listen to music. It was a tragedy because I love listen music. When I have to walk, I listen music; when I have to take a bus, I listen music; when I work, I listen music. Included, when I am sad, I have (necessarily) to listen to music because it does that I will be better.
My life without my IPod would be terrifying. When I had lost it, I hated take the bus, because I thought that it was boring, I have to find comfort in other things like read. I began to read in the bus.
Now, that I have my charger (I bought it yesterday), I can read in the bus, and when I have to walk I listen music.
The bad is, sometimes, the music begin to repeat because the IPod`s memory is not so big. It has 2GB, it is not a lot of music, but is very easy change the list of songs.

A place...

Really, I had not gone of holidays in a lot of years. But, two years ago in september´s holidays three friends and me went around four days to Elqui´s Valley. The travel was very funny, I enjoyed it because I was collasped and so tired with the U so I needed holidays. We chose this place because the father of one of my friends has cabins in Chañar Blanco (it is a place in Elqui´s Valley) so, we had not pay any money.
About Elqui´s Valley: it is a wonderfull place, you can feeling the peace in the air. All is so quit, in in the day the sun is shinning all the time and in the night you can see millions stars. It was what we needed.
This Valley is known because you can find many types of therapies like: Tarot, Reki, meditation, massage, etc.
Other things that represent this place is the astrology. I reciently said that in the night you can see a lot of stars, well; the valley´s skies are very clear and clean, it is very good to practice the Astronomy. The valley has two very important observatories: Mamalluca and Tololo, they offer tour, with talks including.

My Career: Architecture

Hi, about my career...

it is architecture, i love it.

I am studying architecture because.... really I am not sure xD. I did not what studying up to I had the PSU in my hands. I did not know if studying design or architecture and I chose architecture because if it did not like me, was more easy change me from architecture to design that change from design to architecture. I only had clear, that I wanted study something relationated with the arts and design.

The architect is very importante to the society, he is the person in charge of giving solutions to the people`s problems (relationated with the construction and the urbanism).
Too, this constructions should be the reflect of the society in that place, at that moment.
Therefore, we need things like passion, creativity, leadership...
Maybe, the University could give us some tools. But, if you don´t have it, you never will be a really architect.

In this site we can find a lot of topics and ways to teach english, for example:

The Flatmates: it is a series, the story is about four flatmates. Their name are Alice, Helen, Michal and Tim.

Grammar, Vocabulary and Pronunciation: in the part of pronunciation, the best is that i can to be reading a text, and at the same time a voice is reading it. I think that is very good because i can do the connection or relation "noise-word".

Community: i like this, you can communicate with students or teachers of any place around the world.

I remember that when i was in the school, in the english`s class we had the opportunity of to send a letter to a girl of United States. Her name was Sara and she ever sent me some presents and pictures.
All the days i went running to see my mail, and revised if was received something.
